Rev. David Pate

I can only say that I am blessed and privileged to serve Trinity Baptist Church in the capacity of pastor. I hope to use this time to encourage and equip this church to become an even more effective witness of Jesus and his love for people.

The people of Trinity are good people. They do love God and they love each other. I expect that God is about to use this congregation to make a major difference in Pleasanton, Texas. Yes, it will require hard work, sacrifice and vision, but I believe that Trinity is already willing to do whatever it takes to glorify Jesus and complete the mission He has given them.

I AM EXCITED to see what GOD is about to do! So, if you want to be part of a church that is truly serving God, loving people and making a difference for God's sake, then Trinity is the place for you.

The position of Church Secretary of Trinity Baptist Church can be a demanding role at times, but Judith is more than up to the challenge. After all, she once taught junior high school.

She came to us by way of Dallas, Texas, where she was a long-time member of First Baptist Church pastored for so many years, of course, by the late W. A. Criswell. Judith was on staff with the church for ten years.

Judith raised three boys. Her youngest son, Rev. Pete Houpt, is a former pastor of our church.

"I came to Trinity because of Pete," Judith shares. "I stayed because of the lovingkindness that is this church, and because of the beautiful example of Christian life which can be seen in the daily lives of its members.

"I'm thankful to have a chance to hopefully give back to Trinity some of the love and acceptance I have received."

Judith's favorite leisure-time activities are enjoying her grandchildren (five grandsons, two granddaughters and one great grandson) and going to the beach.
