Interim Pastor

Rev. Charles "Chuck" Lewis

I am delighted to be able to work alongside these good people at Trinity Baptist and be given the privilege to serve as interim pastor.

Our church has a long-standing history of faithfulness to the community of Pleasanton. I believe it is the desire of each of our members to continue sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ not only to our community but around the world. Matthew 28:19-20.

I know choosing a place to worship can be very stressful sometimes. We are here to assist you in that process. There are trained teachers, greeters, nursery attendants and many others to guide you. We would be thrilled to have you visit with us at Trinity Baptist. Everyone is welcome.

Our heartfelt prayer is for people to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and become actively involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church that cares for them.

The position of Church Secretary of Trinity Baptist Church can be a demanding role at times, but Judith is more than up to the challenge. After all, she once taught junior high school.

She came to us by way of Dallas, Texas, where she was a long-time member of First Baptist Church pastored for so many years, of course, by the late W. A. Criswell. Judith was on staff with the church for ten years.

Judith raised three boys. Her youngest son, Rev. Pete Houpt, is a former pastor of our church.

"I came to Trinity because of Pete," Judith shares. "I stayed because of the lovingkindness that is this church, and because of the beautiful example of Christian life which can be seen in the daily lives of its members.

"I'm thankful to have a chance to hopefully give back to Trinity some of the love and acceptance I have received."

Judith's favorite leisure-time activities are enjoying her grandchildren (five grandsons, two granddaughters and one great grandson) and going to the beach.
